Privacy notice

Last updated 20 October 2026

This notice explains how Neocore Holdings Ltd uses personal data collected through this website, including the enquiry form, and how we use the details of business owners we contact directly (see If we contacted you first). We have kept it short and in plain English.

Who we are

Neocore Holdings Ltd ("Neocore", "we", "us") is the controller of your personal data. We are a company registered in England and Wales, company no. 16572065, with our registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

For any question about this notice or your personal data, email hello@neocore.uk.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you give us:

  • your name and email address
  • your company name and your role (for example owner, shareholder or adviser)
  • the country the business is based in
  • the approximate turnover and EBITDA bands you choose, if any
  • anything you write in your message
  • your phone number, if you choose to give it

If an adviser contacts us on your behalf, we receive the details they share with us.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider, Wix, automatically collects basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. Wix uses this to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent misuse. See Cookies below.

Please don't send detailed financial or commercial information through the form. If a conversation goes further, we will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with you before any detailed information is shared.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and assess whether your business could be a fit for us. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and identifying businesses we may acquire. We use only what is needed for that purpose, and we balance it against your interests and rights.
  • To take steps before entering into an agreement with you, such as arranging an NDA, meetings or Heads of Terms, where you ask us to. Our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To run and secure the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in operating a safe, working website.
  • Where we rely on consent, for example for any non-essential cookies, we ask for it first, and you can withdraw it at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations, for example keeping records if a transaction goes ahead.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing emails about products or services unless you ask us to.

If we contacted you first

This section is for business owners and directors we contact directly, before they have contacted us. It adds to the rest of this notice; our details as controller are under Who we are.

  • Where your details come from. Companies House in the UK, the Registro Mercantil (the Spanish commercial register) in Spain, other public business registers and directories, company websites, and commercial business-data providers.
  • What we hold. Your name, your role in the business (for example owner or director), your business contact details (such as your business email address and business address), and a record of our correspondence with you.
  • Why we use it, and our lawful basis. To approach you about a possible acquisition of your business. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in finding businesses we may acquire. We use only business details, we write to you about your business and not your private life, and you can object at any time, so we consider this a fair balance with your interests and rights.
  • Who sees it. The email services we use to send and store our emails, acting as our processors, and our professional advisers, as set out in Who we share it with. If any of this data is processed outside the UK and the EEA, the safeguards described in International transfers apply.
  • How long we keep it. Up to 24 months from our last contact with you, or less if you object. We then delete it, except for a minimal suppression record (for example your name, email address and the date you asked us to stop), which we keep only so that we do not contact you again.
  • Your right to object. You can object at any time. Simply reply to our email or write to hello@neocore.uk, and we will stop contacting you and stop using your details for this purpose.
  • Your other rights. You also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure and restriction described in Your rights. You can complain to the ICO in the UK or, if you are based in Spain, to the AEPD, as set out in Complaints.

Confidentiality

We treat every enquiry in confidence. We do not tell your staff, customers or anyone else that you have contacted us. Detailed information about your business is only exchanged after an NDA is signed.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only when necessary:

  • Wix.com, which hosts this website and the enquiry form and processes data on our behalf as our processor.
  • Our professional advisers (for example lawyers, accountants and tax advisers), only where needed to assess or progress a potential transaction, and always under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Authorities or other parties, only where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Wix may process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA), for example in Israel or the United States. Where it does, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses (with the UK addendum where relevant). You can ask us for more information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it. If a transaction goes ahead, we keep the relevant records for as long as the law requires (for example for company, tax and accounting purposes). Technical data collected by Wix is kept according to Wix's own retention periods.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • erase your data in certain circumstances
  • restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances
  • object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests
  • data portability, to receive data you gave us in a commonly used format, where applicable
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it)

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@neocore.uk. We will reply within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we use your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority:

  • in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), ico.org.uk
  • in the EU, the authority in the country where you live, work or think the problem occurred. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), aepd.es

Cookies

Wix sets a small number of cookies that are needed to run the website securely and remember your choices, for example your language. We do not use advertising cookies. If any non-essential cookies (such as analytics) are used, we will ask for your consent first through the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
